He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Schmidt and Elizabeth Schmidt (Miller); his wife Ella May; and his brother William Schmidt. He is survived by: his daughters, Ella Hitchcock, Charlene Beagle (Keith) and Sharon Fairbanks (Steve); his grandchildren, Edward Beagle, Richard Beagle, Don Beagle, Stephen Fairbanks (Deb), Daniel Fairbanks (Brenda) and Shannon Hitchcock; his sister Kathryn Gibbons of Long Island, N. Y.; and his pet Brandy. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
