She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Fielding Hazel Parris; her aunts and uncles, Helen and Toy Finch; her son Philip; and also Bart.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Brake of Niskayuna and Darrell Brake (Nanci) of Madison, Conn; her grandchildren, Kendall Parris Brake of Syracuse and Darrell Christopher Brake of Madison, Conn; her sisters, Debbie Burgess of Lyman, S. C. and Beverly Wells of Pacolet, S. C.; and her brother-in-law Roger Brake (Sue) of Morehead City, N. C.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
