He was predeceased by: his parents, John Friel and Mary Ann Friel (Grant); his wife Kathleen Friel (Donohue); and his sisters, Mary Josephine and Kathleen.
He is survived by: his children, Sean G. Friel of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania and Jennifer Forsythe (Kenneth) of Wantage; and his grandsons, Jeremy, Jonathan and Sean Anthony.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pinkel Funeral Home, Inc. (31 Bank St, Sussex, NJ 07461). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinkel Funeral Home (31 Bank St, Sussex, NJ 07461).
