He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Mary E. Marcktell (Maguire); and his brother William H. Marcktell. He is survived by: his wife Aida Marcktell (Bornales); his stepmother Frances P. Marcktell; his children, John A. Marcktell (Divina) of Simsbury and Jacqueline M. Santiago (Anthony) of Simsbury; his grandchildren, Alexander J. Marcktell, Sofia B. Marcktell, Lorenzo J. Marcktell, Christian A. Santiago and Cassandra I. Santiago; and his sister-in-law Ayala Marcktell of New York City. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
