She was predeceased by: her parents, Sofia Rogu and George Rogu. She is survived by: her siblings, Ioanna, Demetrios and Ilana; her children, George (Lisa), Christine (Dean), Joanne (John) and Helen; and her grandchildren, Katina, Gianna, Sophia, Christopher, Tristan, Daniel, James, Alexis and Nadia.

“A tear came to my face. I tried so many times to reach out to you. I even called this morning. No answer. And all of a sudden I saw the obituary. Speechless. May God Rest You in Peace!!! I will remember our conversations and our good times back in New York in 1997 when you opened your house for me coming from Romania. My heart is broken now. No more Geta. Lord took you in a place where is no pain and suffer. Rest in Peace Geta!!! I will keep you in my heart forever. Andreea, Los Angeles”
