She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carswell and Irene McCasling Carswell; and her brothers, Tillman, Walter, Henry, Roosevelt and William Carswell.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Caswell; her grandchildren, Isaiah L. Mealing (Tiffany), Latoya Mealing, Quandess Washington and Sharika Washington; her great grandchildren, Toynisha, Olivia, Taylor, Aleah Mealing, Kamille Coston, Jalaya Washington, Jacore and Jaidan Ritter; and her great great grandchildren, Reagan Mealing and Ryan Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cole Funeral Home (1544 University Pkwy, Aiken, SC 29801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at the Aiken Memorial Gardens (1924 Edgefield Hwy, Aiken, SC 29801).
