It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelaida A. Cedeno (Queens, New York), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Adelaida departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Adelaida may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Adelaida leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Hugo, Juana, Mercedes, Antonio, Carlos, Ruben, Dolores and Miriam; and her husband Carlos Cedeno. She was also cherished by 32 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 7 great great grand children.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James Romanelli-Stephen Funeral Home (89-01 Rockaway Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11416). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 243 Weirfield St, Brooklyn, NY 11231.
