It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hollis Barber Jr. of Quaker Springs, New York, born in Greenwich, New York, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis and Lucy Barber Sr.; and his siblings, Nellie Beadle, Kathleen Blanchard, Donald Barber, Richard Barber and Larry Barber.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Starks Barber; his children, Sheila McNeil (Pat DeVito), Ross Barber, Judy Wood-Shaw and Mary Jane Barber; his grandchildren, Ronnie McNeil (Lisa), Brian McNeil (Christy), Kelly McNeil (John Orlandella), Carrie Rowland (Jason), Alison Barber, Ross F. Barber (Angela), Andrew Barber (Amber), Joe Wood (Katie), Eddie Wood (Devan), David Izzo, Daniel Izzo (Jessica) and Holly Buda; his brothers, Carl (Elieen), Karl Barber and Wally Barber (Lynn); and his sister-in-law Mary Barber. He is also survived by his 15 great grandchildren.
Pandemic guidelines such as social distancing and wearing of masks and limited attendance will be observed.
