With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George W. Grooznack Sr. of Quaker Springs, New York, born in Mechanicville, New York, who passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George W. Grooznack Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grooznack and Elizabeth Soroka Grooznack; and his wife Josephine Grooznack. He is survived by: his children, George Grooznack Jr. (Cheryl) of Schuylerville and Kathleen Barss (David) of Greenfield Center; his sister Eileen Gerardi (Charles) of Stillwater; his grandchildren, James Grooznack (Laura), Bonnie Schultz (Steve), Edward Grooznack (Amanda), Kyle Barss and Kayla Barss; his great grandchildren, Cody Grooznack, John and Jeremiah Schultz; and his close friend Nancy Dermott of Schuylerville. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
