She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Dakota James (D. J.); her mother Linda; her siblings, Deb and Steven (Sharon); her half-siblings, Lisa (Rob) and Brian (Cindy); her aunt Frances; her uncle Peter (Betty); her cousins, Robert, David, Perrin, Sean, Lauren, Bobby, Dan and Arthur; her nieces and nephews, Matthew, Jack, Andrew, Brandon, Melody, Rebecca and Sophia; her son Daevin; her brother Guy Bennet; her father Jack; her uncles, Stanley and Marvin; her aunt Xena; her grandparents, Jeanne and Bob; her friend Adrianne; and her close friend Bayside Queens.

Suzie first worked with her long-time friend Adrianne at the Hemophilia Foundation in Manhattan.
