He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Carney and Stella Carney; and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Gary Carney (Bonnie), Lisa Carney Eldridge (David) and Andrea Longden (Michael); his grandchildren, Scott (Megan Carney), Kate, Bethany (Jamie Eldridge), Emma and Jack (Maddy Longden); and his sister Janice Vanek (Charlie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
