With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Ekholm (Putnam Valley, New York), born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 6, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Darlene leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Gigler and Erna Gigler; and her brother Fred Gigler. She is survived by: her husband Charles E Ekholm; her daughters, Charlene Hracs (Alex) and Alice Scolpini (Timothy); and her sister Deanna Gigler.
