We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2022, at the age of 83, John R. LaPointe of Putnam Station, New York, born in Ticonderoga, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Desmond LaPointe and Margaret LaPointe Berner (Thompson); his sister Michelle LaPointe; and his son John Russell LaPointe. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette L. LaPointe (Cummings); his children, Tom LaPointe (Judy), Chris LaPointe (Charlotte), Desiree LaPointe, Kim Coffin (Matt), Chantel Thomas (Cynthia) and Jason Thomas; his grandchildren, Sam, Noah LaPointe, Desmond, Jace, Marlee Diskin, Michael Gates, Jennell Coffin, Taylor Coffin, Riley, Ross and Raegan Thomas; his great grandchild CharlieAnn Gates; and his sisters, Rosann Touchette, Bonnie Schmidt, Claire Holland and Deborah Wehrman.
