Shay of Purling, New York, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shay and Mary Mesuda; his daughter Colleen Shay; and his siblings, William Shay, Wayne, David, Martin Mesuda and Marylou Baird.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Shay; his children, John Shay (Paula), James Shay and Kathleen Shay; his siblings, Donald Mesuda and Patricia Mesuda; his grandchildren, Amir Abad, Kayla Cook, James Shay, Samantha Shay and Zachary Shay; and his pet Hezekiah.
