She was predeceased by: her husband Fabian Hayes McCarthy; and her son John Thomas McCarthy. She is survived by: her sister Ellen Birney of Las Vegas, NV.; her children, Mary McCarthy (Sam DelValle), Tara DelMonaco (Palmer) and Robert; and her granddaughter Acadia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
