He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Lou Tyler (Marvin); his son Stanley J. Tyler; his parents, Peter Tyler and Nella Tyler (Gowin); and his siblings, Jesse, Robert, Richard, Luretta (Ames), Doris (Bennett), Louise (Darrin) and Patricia (Para).
He is survived by: his children, Dorothy Buckley (Michael), Rhonda Tyler, Judith Campbell (Scott), Peter Tyler (Lisa Maidenford), Virginia Watson (James), Toby Tyler (Barbie), Brenda Frost (Robert) and Jesse Tyler (Jennifer); and his siblings, Donald Tyler, Linda Erway, Norma Darrin and Fredrick Tyler. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pulteney Volunteer Fire Department.
