With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Vaughn Potter of Pulteney, New York, who passed away on January 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Isolid Potter and Francis Potter; his wife Harriette O. Potter; his grandmother Bernice Wheeler; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Bailey and James VanVliete.

He is survived by: his sister Ann Bailey; his sons, Jeffrey Potter (Gabriele), John Potter (Kim) and Brock Potter (Lynn); his grandchildren, Hans Potter (Kristiana), Shauna Cook (Kyle) and Wade Potter (Deneé); his great grandchildren, Ayden and Jaxson Potter; his siblings-in-law, Teri VanVliete, Jacquelyn Robinson (James) and Frederick VanVliete (Randi); his friend Norman'Bucky'Bates; and his pet Luke.

Donations can be made in Charles' name to your local animal shelter, the Pulteney Fire Department, or the First Presbyterian Church of Pulteney.
