She was predeceased by: her parents, John Phillips and Elizabeth "Pam" Phillips; and her husband Dr David M Stern. She is survived by: her sons, Dr Scott Stern (Rachel) of Lowville, NY, Shawn Stern (Sherry) of Pulaski, NY and Todd Stern (Nichole) of Yanceyville, NC; her sisters, Peg Romano (Bruce) and Linda Tobin (Toby); her grandchildren, Nikita Pisik, Tyler Stern, David Stern, Derrick Stern and Olivia Stern; and her great grandchildren, Giana Pisik and Anna Pisik.
Donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
