He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gibbs and Margaret Gibbs (Woodruff); his wife Beatrice Bennett; his children, Richard Gibbs and Barb Stewart; and his siblings, Hazel Powelezyk, Doris Murray, Marge Bennett and Paul Gibbs.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Gibbs and Becky Allen; his sister Ruth Russell of St Albans, VT; and his niece Janet Dove. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
