He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emma Krebs (Hertzler) and Charles H. Krebs; his wife Janet (Freeborn); and his children, Karen Powell Atkinson (Jeffrey), D. Mark Powell (Mary), James R. Powell (Sarah) and Brenda Lee Powell. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
