He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Atkinson and Cynthia Wadsworth Atkinson; his brother James; and his sister-in-law Pat Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Scott Atkinson of Pulaski; his sons, Jeffrey Atkinson (Karen) of Canandaigua, Michael Atkinson (Kathryn) of Philomont, VA, Peter Atkinson (Barbara) of Orwell and Scott Atkinson (Beth) of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Ian Atkinson, Christopher Atkinson, Samuel Nelson Atkinson and Carissa Martin; and his brothers, Larry Atkinson (Kay) of Pulaski, Donald Atkinson (Karen) of Wesley Chapel, FL and Tom Atkinson (Dorothy) of Kortright, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
