He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Teachout and Emma Hilton Teachout. He is survived by: his wife Florence Rude Teachout; his stepsons, Leonard Gates and Robert Gates; and his siblings, Larry Teachout, Lee Teachout, Lois Merrill and Linda Crandall.
