He was predeceased by: his parents, Archa Moot and Alice Moot (Fox). He is survived by: his children, Karen Wilson (Paul) of Knoxville, TN, Jeffrey Moot (Nichole) of Pulaski and Bradley Moot (Tony) of New York City; his siblings, Barry Moot (Cheryl) of Pineville, Ed Moot (Barb) of Phoenix, AZ and Pat Reed of Hastings; and his grandchildren, Kristen Chapman (Cory), Travis Wilson (Katie), Kaylee Lowery (Ian), Taylor Moot (Justin Cox) and Jayden Moot. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
