She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nepage and Jessie House Nepage; her husband Austin Cowan, Sr.; her son Austin Cowan, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles Nepage and Carrie Stroebel.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Swinney (Jim) of Mexico, Marlene Peck (Chris) of Boylston, Melonie Turner (John) of Pulaski and Allen Cowan (Faye) of Oswego; and her brother Jimmy House of Virginia. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
