Brantley Deaton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brantley Deaton of Pulaski, New York, born in Wolf Coal, Kentucky, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Deaton and Mary Bush Deaton; his daughter Starr; his brother Alva Deaton; his son-in-law John Svatek; his daughter Dorothy Lovejoy; and his wives, Sally Laus and Harriette Buck-Roukouff.
He is survived by: his children, Christa Phillips (Ron) of Pulaski, Karen Santiago (Jeffrey) of Freeport, FL, Sandra Kirkland (Ken) of Marianna, FL, Mary Beth Svatek of Daphne, AL, Charles Deaton of Pulaski and B. Michael Deaton (Karen) of Syracuse; his stepchildren, Robert Seigart (Karen) of Dewitt, William Seigart (Denise) of East Stroudsburg, PA, Carol May of Juneau, AK, Cheryl Gonzalez (James) of Syracuse, NY, George Roykouff (Sheree) of Fenton, MI and Karen Thomas (Joe) of Stoughton, MA; and his siblings, Dorothy Fenton, Ion, Frank, Charles and Woodrow Deaton. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and Harriette's four grandchildren and her eight great-grandchildren.
