It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael J. Retchless of Prospect, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Justin Retchless and Frances Retchless. He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Eisert of Olean; his sons, Michael (Bridget), Timothy (Lindsay) and Matthew (Megan); his grandchildren, Sarah Gerhard (Steven), Justin Retchless (Hannah Wilber), Trent Retchless, Paxton Retchless and Jack Retchless; his great grandchildren, Colt and Raylan Gerhard; his friend Joseph Hurley of Southampton, NY.; and his caregivers, Ashley, Barbara and Kim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Olean Little League, HomeCare and Hospice of Olean and the Bonnies Athletic Fund.
