With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Potter of Preble, New York, born in Truxton, New York, who passed away on June 5, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Potter and Helen Potter; and his siblings, Jane Fagan (Henry) of Florida, Katie Mead (Francis) of Sempronius, Sharron, Colleen and Ralph.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Potter of Preble; his daughter Debbie Erickson; his stepsons, Doug Heath (Dena) of Newfield, Brian Townsend of Preble, Joey Townsend (Lisa) of Auburn, Dennis Townsend of North Carolina, Kevin Townsend of North Carolina and Jerry Townsend of Auburn; his sisters, Mary Wilcox (Edward) of Homer and Rose Wells (Kenneth) of Truxton; his granddaughter Erin Townsend of Tully; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Sophia, Wyatt and Cooper; and also Courtney Allen. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Cortland County SPCA in lieu of flowers.
