He was predeceased by: his daughter Lory Cornue; and his parents, Carroll Nye and Edna Nye. He is survived by: his wife Loretta White Nye; his children, Terri Schuster (David) of Tully and Lawrence Nye Jr. (Sylvia) of Little York; his son-in-law John Cornue of Canastota; his grandchildren, Erin Doherty (Shawn), Logan Morey (Joe), Nathan Schuster (Lindsey), Audrey Schuster, Jenna Schuster, Matthew Cornue (Ariahanna) and Ben Cornue; and his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kristen, Evelyn, Caitlin Morey, A. J., Scott, Vivienne Schuster and Lila Duncan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law.
