She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberts Cates and Edna King Cates of Otisco Valley; her husband John H. Currie Sr.; and her siblings, Beverly Laforse and Raymond Cates.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Currie (Stewart Harris) of Washington, D. C., John Currie (Colleen) of Preble, Nathan Currie of Preble and Henry Thomas Currie (Kate) of Preble; and her grandchildren, Kayla Vidler (Matt), Chad Currie, Jessica Kennedy (Zach), Emma Currie Wilfong (Liam), Taylor, Matthew Currie, Clara, George and Theodore Currie.
