He is survived by: his parent Clara Root Griswold; his wife Patricia J. Stone Griswold; and his children, Peggie Miller (Ed) of Cortland, James Griswold Preble (Teena), Jeffrey Griswold (Heather) of Preble and Joseph Griswold (Monika) of Germany. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
