He was predeceased by: his spouse Deniece Dutcher Gustin; and his siblings, Kenneth Gustin and Dorothy Schwab. He is survived by: his children, Paul Ostrom (Miranda Higgins) of Hunter, Jessika Ostrom (Bradley Wager) of West Oneonta and Rachel Gustin (Shawn Speenburgh) of East Durham; his grandchildren, Equality and Kiarra Wager; and his sister Amy Cudemo (Nick) of Gilboa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Joseph can be made to the Conesville Fire Department or to a charity of one's choice.
