He was predeceased by: his sister Rosalie Hornblower. He is survived by: his wife Melissa King; his daughter Meghan E. B. Hornblower (Washington, DC); and his siblings, James W. Hornblower (Fiona) of Concord, MA, John G. Hornblower of Aspen, Paul S. Hornblower, Ralph Hornblower, III (Cynthia) of New York City and Priscilla Hornblower (Nicole Hornblower) of Cambridge, MA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
