He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Haessler and Alice Haessler (Bailey); and his son Bob. He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his son Tom; his daughter-in-law Janice; his grandchildren, Laura (Allen), Thomas, Samantha (Anthony) and Kaitlin; his great grandchildren, Saylor and Colter; his daughter-in-law Cheryl; his grandchildren, Liam, Kelsey and Madison; and his siblings, James Haessler and Judy Clark.
