It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Black (Poughquag, New York), born in New York, New York, who passed away on May 4, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Douglas Black and Alice Black (Gleason); his fiancé Lilli Nilssen; his children, Tracy Russell of Mahopac and Katharine Garlepp (John) of Woodstock, GA; his stepdaughter Lisa Berardis (Anthony) of New Fairfield, CT; his siblings-in-law, Maryann Black of St. Augustine, FL and Louie LePage of Queens; his nephew Scott Black of St. Augustine, FL; his children-in-law, Clifford Russell of Port Chester and Virginia Carney of Saugerties; his son Billy Black; his brother James Black; and his stepson Marc Nilssen. He was also cherished by his 10 grandchildren; his 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
