He was predeceased by: his parents, Angel Ruiz and Isaura Ruiz (Davila). He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Louis J. Ruiz, Jr. of Poughquag and Dana Canzone (Ralph) of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew; his siblings, Norma Kaye (David) of Naples, FL and Benigno Ruiz (Patty) of Baltimore, MD; and his cousin Julio Albino (Mercedes) of Naples, FL. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
