We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2023, at the age of 73, William Thomas Malet of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P. Malet and Gertrude A. Malet; his brothers, Father Francis Peter Malet and Charles Michael Malet; and his brother-in-law Robert Fennell.
He is survived by: his close friend Sherrie Bugli; his children, Kate Malet Rogowski (Eric) of New Canaan, CT and Timothy Francis Malet (Shannon) of Staatsburg, NY; the mother of his children Monica Malet of Poughkeepsie, NY; his grandchildren, Alice Rogowski, Sawyer Rogowski, McKenna Malet, Brady Malet and Ryan Malet; his sisters, Mary Patricia Malet Fennell of Geneseo, NY and Eileen Malet Linn (Brian) of Hyde Park, NY; his sister-in-law Cindy Rowley Malet; his nephew Christopher Michael Malet (Kelly Anne); his great-nephews, Patrick and Aiden; his great-nieces, Emmy and Stella; his nieces and nephews, Brenna Renee Hackbarth and Peter Linn; and also, Lauren Hackbarth Loehner (Ian), Danene Gray, Matthew Bugli and Alex Gray.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in "Memory of Tom Malet" to the Alzheimer's Association, Hudson Valley Chapter.
