Virginia McCauley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, at the age of 82, Virginia McCauley of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Virginia's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Virginia has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ryan Brown and Mary Barry Brown; her husband Gary McCauley; and her siblings, Barry and Carol Ann.
She is survived by: her daughter Kate. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and her closest friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rabideau Funeral Home (5614 US-11, Ellenburg, NY 12933). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edmund's Church (5526 US-11, Ellenburg Center, NY 12934).
