With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas McGrath III (Poughkeepsie, New York), born in Troy, New York, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McGrath and Blanch McGrath; his siblings, Daniel McGrath and Susan Vanier; his brother-in-law David Vanier; and his nephew David.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Carrie); his children, Kimberly, Evan (Tara) and Michael; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Madeline, Carter, Camden and Wallace. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In ieu of flowers the family requests that you direct donations to the Special Olympics or other community organizations that support the Developmentally Disabled.
