It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas E. Comerford Jr. of Poughkeepsie, New York, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Comerford and Edna Purcell Comerford; his sister Roseanne McArdle (Phillip McArdle); and his brother-in-law Charlie McGorry. He is survived by: his wife Patricia R. Comerford; his sister Claire McGorry; his children, Thomas Comerford (Faye Plagianos), Michael Comerford (Stephanie Comerford), Kathleen Klein (Matthew Klein), Kevin Comerford and Sean Comerford (Erica Comerford); and his grandchildren, Danielle (Samuel Dole), Patrick, Ryan, James and Abigail. He is also survived by sister and brother in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tom's memory.
