Theodore Otto Prenting Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theodore Otto Prenting of Poughkeepsie, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Prenting and Mary Prenting (Seidel); his spouse Bernardine M. Schlimm of Cincinnati, OH; and his daughter Mary Nell. He is survived by: his son Peter J. Prenting; his son-in-law Joseph J. Palumbo; his granddaughters, Grace, Charlotte and Lucy Palumbo; his sister Marta Bastian of Bloomfield Hills, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Schlimm of Cincinnati, OH and Philip Price of Navarre, FL. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (775 Main St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the St. Peter's Cemetery (171 Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
