She was predeceased by: her brother Bruce Christy. She is survived by: her parents, Donn Christy and Catherine Christy (Higgins); her husband David Smith Sr.; her children, Saundra Houston (William) and David Smith Jr. (Meghan Goldsbary); her siblings, Donn Christy and Sharon Newling; and her pet Angel. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
