She was predeceased by: her father Benjamin Evans; her sisters, Talette Evans and Shanita Green; and her grandmother Gertrude Bronson. She is survived by: her mother Michelle Mizell of Poughkeepsie; her husband Dr. Yaw Apenteng of Lagrange; her children, Hannah Apenteng of Lagrange and Matthew Apenteng of Lagrange; her siblings, Terry Cherry of Poughkeepsie and Tavonna Cherry-Sharp; her brother-in-law Raymond Sharp of Poughkeepsie; her siblings, Taron Mizell of Poughkeepsie, Geoffrey Ricketts of Poughkeepsie and Cassia Evans of Newburgh; and her grandmother Dr. Sylvia Watkins (Yorkie Milo) of Poughkeepsie. She is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
