With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Viola (Poughkeepsie, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on January 10, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Viola and Mary Rizzo Viola; and his brother Herbert Viola. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ricozzi; his son Robert J.; his daughter-in-law Maureen Viola Jr.; his daughter Audra Jean Viola; his grandchildren, Morgan and Christian Viola; his brothers, Peter P. Viola (Yue Xiang) and Ronald Viola (Emily); and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Marcone, Angela Pennucci (David) and Maryann Viola. He is also survived by many special friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columba Church (835 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533).
