We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2019, at the age of 91, Robert Ackerman (Poughkeepsie, New York), born in Bronx, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Ackerman and Lillian Gately Ackerman; and his wife Margaret Robertson. He is survived by: his children, George (Patricia) of Bedford Hills, NY and Gail Koob (Peter) of Poughkeepsie, NY.; his siblings, Fred Ackerman of Cortlandt Manor, NY and Lorraine Bryant of Daytona Beach; and his grandchildren, Heather, James, Laura Koob, Kevin and Lauren Ackerman.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Robert's name to the Alzheimer's Association or the Montrose VA Nursing Home.
