Rita E. Manca Obituary

We bid farewell to Rita E. Manca of Poughkeepsie, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 17, 2024 at the age of 93. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Ruckdeschel and Paula Raab Ruckdeschel; her husband Anthony Manca; and her sister Edith Altenburger. She is survived by: her children, Linda Manca of Poughkeepsie, NY, Leonard Manca of Chandler, Ann Marie Kenny (Michael) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Judith Torre (Mark) of Beacon, NY; her grandchildren, Michael Kenny Jr. (Jessica) of Highland, NY, Angela Manca of Mesa and Susan Manca of Queen Creek; her great grandchildren, Alexandria Pfannkuch of Queen Creek, Isla Kenny of Highland, NY and Leo Kenny III of Highland, NY.; her brother Ted; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Howard of Piney Green, NC, Eleanor Camarda of Riverhead, NY and Alfina Manca of Little Neck, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William G. Miller and Son Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (11 Clinton St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590).
