It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard W. Elwell of Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Elwell; and his parents, Ralph and Mary. He is survived by: his siblings, Norma and Leo (Jackie); his sons, Tim (Joy) and Ralph (Christopher); his grandchildren, Diana, Ryan, Ian and Zoe (Douglas); and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Jaden.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William G. Miller and Son Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Church (118 Cedar Valley Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
