She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Laun and Maria Elizebeth Schweikhand Laun. She is survived by: her children, Rene Ireland, David Vargas Jr. and Reyno Vargas; her grandsons, David Nathanael Vargas and Cortland Robert Vargas; her great grandchild David Leo Antione Vargas; her children-in-law, Maysline D. Vargas and Doug Ireland (Angela Jefferson); and her friend Iris Bray.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Church of God in Christ (91 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery (342 South Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
