It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muriel T. Westermann of Poughkeepsie, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Tierney and Francis Tierney; her sister Gloria; and her cousins, Rosemary and Catherine.
She is survived by: her children, Mary E. Westermann of Poughkeepsie, NY, John (Jennifer Westermann) of Endicott, NY, Edward Westermann (Bethany) of Canandaigua, NY, Teresa (Mark Stegner) of Clinton Corners, NY and Allen (Annmarie Westermann) of ChampionsGate, FL.. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
