Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Louise Beneway of Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away at the age of 94, on December 24, 2024. She was predeceased by: her father Herbert A. Miller; her husband Robert Beneway; her son Gary Hentz; her son-in-law Vernon Wilen; and her siblings, Robert Miller, Ferman Miller, Eugene Miller, Henry Miller, Betty Dolfinger, Mary Morse, Alice Kaba and Shirley Miller.
She is survived by: her mother Alice E. Miller; her brother Paul John Miller; her daughters, Linda Wilen, Dawn Lodge (John) and Terri Sofokles (Charles); her daughter-in-law Kathy Hentz; and her grandchildren, Nicole Sylskar, Tanya Walth, Yvette Patrick, Megan Bauer, Victoria Hentz, Michael Sofokles, Colette Sofokles and John Lodge. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the G. Miller & Son F. H. (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in Louise's name to the Dementia Society of America.
