He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas H. Tyree and Mary Harris Tyree Huff; and his siblings, Allen Tyree, Edward Tyree and Kay Lorraine Tyree.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Wayne Tyree Jr. (Jennifer) of Raleigh, NC., Robert Paul Tyree (Lisa) of Durham, NC., Heather Nicole Tyree (Nathan) of Roanoke Rapids, NC., Thomas Lloyd Keith Jr. (Karen) of Poughkeepsie, Susan Keith Cardinale (Alfred) of Poughkeepsie and Colleen Keith Herman (Paul) of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Hadley, Avery, Oliver, Paisley Tyree, Joseph Evans (Maddie), Amanda Evans, Sara Keith and Al Cardinale; his great grandchildren, Savannah and Jack Evans; his sisters, Karen Tyree Sealey (Eulas) and Brandy Brown (Kristin); and his nieces, Marie Sealey and Marissa Herman (Kyle). He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
